ICAO DOC 9501 Part 1 – Environmental Technical Manual- Volume I – Procedures for the Noise Certification of Aircraft
The aim of this manual is to promote uniformity in the implementation of the technical procedures of Annex 16 — Environmental Protection, Volume III — Aeroplane CO2 Emissions by providing: 1) guidance to certificating authorities, applicants and other interested parties regarding the intended meaning of the Standards in the current edition of the Annex; 2) guidance on specific methods that are deemed acceptable in demonstrating compliance with those Standards; and 3) equivalent procedures resulting in effectively the same CO2 emissions evaluation metric.
