ICAO DOC 10104 – Flight Recorder System Maintenance (FRSM) Manual, Ed1
Some States regularly experience problems during the downloading of data from flight recorders. Annex 6 – Operation of Aircraft requires that operational checks and evaluations of recordings from flight recorder systems are conducted to ensure the continued serviceability of the recorders. Doc 10104 provides guidance for the implementation of these procedures to improve the availability of flight data for accident and incident investigations
